All of our sheets are made from super soft long staple cotton in a sateen weave with a 250 thread count to give the perfect combination of softness and breathability.
Sleep temple sheets can be hand washed or put through the washing machine. If using a washing machine we recommend a cool or warm wash as high temperature water can weaken the cotton fibres. A mild detergent works best, while the use of bleaching agents is not recommended. If using a tumble dryer, set it on a low heat and be careful not to leave them in too long.
Because our sheets are 100% long staple cotton fibres, they will naturally wrinkle at the start, but will wrinkle less and less with every wash. We recommend hang drying your sheets to prevent wrinkling.
We only use single ply yarns meaning that we don't group weaker fibers together like many suppliers. Sheet companies who use multi ply yarns often report high thread counts, however this is misleading because the thread count is doubled or tripled as the weaker fibers are grouped together.
We use a 40cm depth for our fitted sheets and construct them with durable elastic all the way around the edge. This makes our fitted sheets perfect for almost any mattress.
Yes we currently offer Grey, we will be adding more colours in the future.
There will be some initial shrinking when you first wash your sheets, but don't worry, we've designed them so that they shrink to the correct size.
We use a mix of 80% duck down and 20% duck feather to create an extremely soft feel that can be used year round.
Yes our doonas come with a lifetime warranty. If something goes wrong with your doona just send us an email and we'll repair it or replace it for free.
If you would like to wash your doona it's better to have it dry cleaned than to use water. Just remember that excessive dry cleaning will shorten the lifespan of your doona, so only do this when necessary. Washing the doona with water can cause damage to the baffle system (the individual cotton boxes which hold the sections of down). For small stains, use soap to spot clean the affected area and hang the doona horizontally to dry.
Our doonas are made with 80% duck down and 20% duck feather.
A doona, duvet and quilt are essentially the same thing but can vary slightly depending on where you are in the world. Sleep temple doonas are made from a series of cotton containers sewn together. These containers are known as baffles and they each contain a down filling. This baffle construction prevents the down from clumping together in one area of your doona to give a nice, even distribution.
